Description

Application / structure  

For underground mines as well as in tunnels, if monitoring of outer damages is required. Used for the connection of mobile operating equipment, in mines and underground excavations with hazardous environment, in stationary operation, e.g. high-voltage transformers in tunneling.

Three core screened PVC Insulated high voltage cable with flexible conductor, symmetrically split protective conductor on each core, PVC inner sheath, control-core and additional pilot cores, steel wire braid and PVC sheath.

Copper, plain, flexible stranded, acc. to DIN EN 60228 class 5
PVC compound type YI5; over insulation the protective conductor made of plain copper wires, design acc. DIN VDE 0250 part 1

Pilot cores
Copper, plain, flexible stranded acc. to DIN EN 60228 class 5
PVC compound type YI4, core colour: black with white no. 1 - 3

Inner sheath
Bedding:           plastic filling the interstices
Inner sheath:    PVC compound type YM1

Monitoring Screen
Plain copper wires, D.C. resistance: 3.3 Ohm/km at 20 °C

Inner sheath 2
Intermediate sheath of PVC compound type YM1

Armour
Galvanized steel wire braid, covering min.  75 %

Outer sheath
PVC compound type YM3
