Description

Application

This aluminium flexible cable is specially designed for Wind Turbines and dedicated for fixed installation inside the tower and  for hard  radius curves , it could be also   used  for some  mobile  installations  with limitation in torsion angle  and cycles.
 

The quality of materials used for core, insulation and sheathing make the cables both durable, and resistant to high temperatures. Nexans offers more than a decade of experience with wind energy.

  • T°C on core : 90 °C in normal use – 250°C in short circuit
  • Water resistance : AD2 to AD6
  • Corrosive and polluting substances resistance : AF3

Design 

1. Conductor :
semi  flexible Aluminium alloy core lower  than cl 2 , IEC/EN 60 228  for RL value 
( -F  as  flexible code  on the marking )
Optional PET separator on core

2. Insulation :
Special cross-linked rubber EPR for high temperatures and  ozone behavior
Optional PET tape on insulation

3. Sheath :
High mechanical performance
Special cross-linked rubber CPE
Oil, Flame and Ozone resistant.
Colour :black   (  color  possible )
